Setting priorities and glueing pieces together this Saturday morning. Thoughts turn clear when words are written on a blank page. We make them concrete, we can fix, edit and at the end make sense of what was deeply hidden inside us.
I posted the photo and the text on IG a few days ago. I received many lovely comments and my friends said I’ve inspired them! So I’m sharing it here, maybe you will be inspired as well.

When the softness of the colours explains much more about my feelings than words and images. When I feel lost and I try to find the answers between lines and dots….
I spent the morning writing and thinking in my studio. The world is loud right now and I crave silence and solitude. I need to look inwards and listen to my soul. I’m an introvert and I always fought with myself about it, I tried to change my essence to please others. Acceptance is the key!
Wishing a lovely Sunday to you!
Is it too early to bring out the fairy lights? Generally, I do it in November when the clocks change, but this year I couldn’t resist, it’s already so dark and I need their warmth early mornings while journaling. Another act of kindness towards myself.

I’m reading The four agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. This book had been for months on my bedside table, but I was a little hesitant to start it. I do believe that the book finds you, not another way around! I knew I’d start it at the right time. Well, I did, and now I’m almost at the end. Not to be a spoiler, but the four agreements are:
The author goes deeper into each of these agreements and at the same time in a concise way, it’s like we are having a cuppa and he is an old friend.
“Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama.”
“Every human is an artist. The dream of your life is to make beautiful art.”
I have concluded I need to reset! I need to end a few things that aren’t working for me anymore, and to start others that are in limbo waiting for an opportunity to show up.
“You can have many great ideas in your head, but what makes the difference is the action. Without action upon an idea, there will be no manifestation, no results, and no reward”
Have you read this book? If so, I’d like to hear about it. Have a great week!
“And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.”
Sylvia Plath
I hope you are doing OK!
Finally, I’m settling down into a routine of staying home. It isn’t the same thing as a staycation, where we are at home to relax, forget about work and enjoy time with the family.
Stay home now, means taking care of the home, the kids and still keep up with the office work. Everybody expects a lot from you.
How can I set up priorities? Should I get ready the lunch for the kids or should I work on a project deadline?
Little by little, step by step, I’m adapting to the new, creating a routine, and most importantly saving time for my me time, where I can spend few minutes journaling, blogging and enjoying my garden now that the weather is getting warm.
Stay safe!

I love the sunlight in my studio early mornings. Both my kitchen and the studio face east. It’s a blessing to have the sunshine in these rooms in the morning, because if I’m at home for sure I’ll be in one of them. Everything looks/feels better with natural light, including our mood.
