each single petal
a luscious softness and dream
waiting for the night

my journaling time is a kind of ritual. it’s the time i connect with my inner-self.  i listen to a deeper voice, my soul’s voice, so i need solitude and silent. a candle and earth elements close by. sometimes i draw a card, to use it as a prompt. coffee or tea is a must. my favorite tools are a plain Moleskine notebook and a Micron pen. this week i’m joining  a writing challenge on IG, #quietwriting, i like the prompts and i’m joining it because it is a short challenge, only 7 days. yesterday’s prompt was ‘creative space’ and i shared this photo showing my journaling time.
And you? where/how do you like to write?

“this particular boy looked impossibly young and fine-boned beneath the bill of his cap, his eyelids burned by the weight of a thousand silky black lashes.”
this morning i’m noticing the details of a story. i’m impressed by the writing of Ann Patchett, how she describes the characters of her story. feels like they are close by and we can touch them. her books are great! i wanted to read this one for a long time, i’m reading it slowly, few pages each morning, savoring each line.
Have a great week my friends!

welcome autumn!
pumpkins
candles
pumpkin pie
pumpkin spice latte
orange sunrises
pink sunsets
teas and teas
sweaters
scarfs
colorful leaves
crunchy leaves
…
happy autumn my friends!

autumn equinox
12 hours of light, 12 hours of darkness
as the sun crosses the equator
today
bring your focus and your energy
inward
as the outside world changes
set an intention for the months ahead
happy equinox!

farewell to the summer
yes, you were a hot and humid one
somedays i got upset with you
but others i just loved that you were here
i’ll remember you as mornings and evenings
in my garden
 vegetables and flowers
smiling at me
and the sun bathing my golden skin

thoughts
they abruptly come
stealing a space in the mind
a space that wasn’t empty at all
but they are ruthless
they take us down without asking permission
isn’t worth to try controlling them
they become stronger with each block
the best is to let them come and go
we aren’t our thoughts

early mornings in the garden
a meditation per si
each step
each breath
each tiny droplet
bath me with joy

sharing the space
each stage has its own
beauty and fragrance
little by little
transforming
and gifting our senses
