This weekend I harvested lavender from my garden. I kept a few in the kitchen to use in salads and to make tea, and I made this bouquet to dry out to make sachets and to put in the drawers and cupboards. In the end, my hands and my home were smelling wonderful.
This morning I visited some of my old books on writing. I’ve them for so long and they were being a little bit neglected with all the business of life.
After ten days of low carbs and high protein diet, I’m starting to see the results. My skin is glowing and I feel lighter, I haven’t checked my weight yet, I really don’t care much about losing a few pounds here and there, but what matters is feeling healthier. Sugar and carbs make me feel anxious and bloated. Of course, I can’t resist a piece of chocolate or a slice of oven-fresh bread! Instead of eating a full bar of sugary chocolate I’m eating a tiny piece of dark chocolate, that generally comes with low sugar. And the bread, not a full loaf anymore! But a tiny slice only. I still enjoy this kind of delicacy but I don’t overdo it.
Get yourself grounded and you can navigate even the stormiest roads in peace.

Hello, it’s already Thursday and today’s post is 3 into 1! Instead of loading your inbox and your reader with 3 posts, I decided to combine all of them here. Hope you enjoy it!
and below is my Etheree for Tanka Tuesday, this week poet’s choice.
flow
grounding
scattered thoughts
on earth magic
inconsistency
the deep need for a change
breathing in and breathing out
a few droplets of lavender
on my pillow under the bright moon
craving the energy for acceptance
June bugs are still hanging around here, so many of them! They come from the Tomato farms surrounding the city. They land on our clothes when we go out in the evening, before coming back in we need to removed them to be sure none come inside home. I missed one few days ago and it started to fly in the middle of the night in our bedroom, I had to wake up hubby to take it outside.
As the days go by I depend more on my glasses. A few years back I only needed them to watch TV, later on, to read, and now to work on the computer or to use my iPhone. I’m not sure if it will be better to wear them all the time, it would save time to look for them I need.
It’s already noon here! I had a busy morning and nothing better than letting go of unpleasant thoughts and worries than keep the hands occupied. I started the day early than usual, I didn’t sleep well, so instead of being in bed I got up and walked in the garden, saying hello to my flowers. After that, I had breakfast and cleaned up the house. I’ve just finished and I’m exhausted but feeling better, mission accomplished!
