I was ready to jump out of bed to go out to our daily run, when hubby said ‘let’s take the day off!’. Well, my legs were still sore from yesterday’s 5k, so we skipped the run and I prepared a yummy breakfast for us: triple-berry smooth made with almond milk, scrambled eggs and a piece of a banana loaf that I baked yesterday. A slowly Sunday morning!
Hope you are enjoying your day!
Early morning jogging in the company of a bird! By 9 am I had accomplished 4.7k steps! I guess the bird got its daily exercise too!
The sound of raindrops and the smell of earth mixing with the fragrance of coffee! Moments of joy this morning!
Rain showers my spirit and waters my soul.

I aimed for 5K steps this morning, well 4K was what I got! Still proud of myself!
This weekend I harvested lavender from my garden. I kept a few in the kitchen to use in salads and to make tea, and I made this bouquet to dry out to make sachets and to put in the drawers and cupboards. In the end, my hands and my home were smelling wonderful.
Have a great week everyone!
This morning I visited some of my old books on writing. I’ve them for so long and they were being a little bit neglected with all the business of life.
Have a great Sunday!
