Noticing and being grateful!
Yes! It’s Friday!
Tulips on my table
Coffee
Flannel PJs
My journal by my side
Candle light - still dark
Silence
Solitude
And you? What are you grateful for?

Dreaming of spring Underneath each petal A breath of hope
I found this beauty at the grocery store last weekend, I could resist and brought her home. A week has passed and she is still a beauty.
Have a great Sunday!

A tiny list for Square perspectives

It is the month of June, The month of leaves and roses, When pleasant sights salute the eyes and pleasant scents the noses.

Hello, my friends!
I hope you find some time to enjoy the outdoors, it’s so pretty out there! Flowers, birds, butterflies, lots of dragonflies …, Nature is having a party of colours and scents. We all deserve a load of fresh air after the lockdown.
Sharing with Nurturing Thursday.

Have a great weekend!

Spring softness can be found a few steps from my front door, as the first flowers in my Dogwood tree.

Or at a few steps a little farther away as in the tulips around my maple tree.

Spring’s soft fragrance can be found a few steps from my back door as well and it can infuse the soul with lightness as the hyacinthus in my backyard.

Or a little farther away, in a park nearby, the beauty of the cherry trees can transport us to a land of fairies and magic.
Hope you enjoyed a little bit the spring softness from my field of vision.

We planted this cherry tree in our backyard a few years back. She was 2 feet tall, a say a baby tree. Now she’s maybe 8 feet tall and she is blooming!
I say ‘she’ because to me all the trees are female. They are fertile, they give flowers and fruits, they are home for birds and other animals. They are always ready to give security and love. Oh! if you don’t know yet, I’m a tree hugger too!
Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food, and medicine to the soul.

Wishing a wonderful May to you! Stay safe!

Today is Earth Day, I was planning to start this post with Happy Earth Day! I decided not to add the word Happy. Why?
Is it really fair to say the word happy at this time with so much pain in the world?
The Earth is infested with a virus that is killing many people, destroying families, jobs, and life per si because of human’s careless actions. At the same time, the WHO, healthy officials, and politicians are dealing with the situation as if it was a game.
So, there is no happy, just Earth Day! I do hope that we can find time to disconnect from the big chaos in the world right now and to focus on the goodness that the Earth gifts us everyday.
I found this gorgeous dandelion in my backyard yesterday. It’s so delicate and intriguing, a work of art from Nature. It made me smile and I felt gratitude towards the Earth, which, in spite of everything the humanity does to it, is still a beautiful place to be.
Stay safe!
