Last flowers from this year
they were charming my garden
now they sit here
in the crystal vase from my mother’s wedding
a gift older to the new couple
now a treasure to me
their fragrance takes me back to the past
to memories worth to keep, to joy and beauty.

The leaves in my yard are pretty. I thought in taking a close up of them, but I was too lazy to go down on my knees to take the photo. I turned my phone upside down and without looking and focusing I clicked! Here it is, a great photo! You can see my pumpkins, on the sidewalk, waiting the recycle truck 🙂 they are a bonus to the photo, since I didn’t see them there before taking the photo.

Nasty weather around here, it’s getting colder and snow is on the way. Glad I stayed indoors during lunch time, I didn’t need to fight with the wind to keep the umbrella up.

I don’t have pets, but these canadian geese are all over my neighbourhood and sometimes they come to my backyard. I think I can consider them as pets :))

I’m sharing a tiny spider since we are few days from halloween for Roda’s critter challenge.
Tiny things always fill up my soul with happiness. I love to walk on the beach and find tiny treasures a long the way. I found this stone, heart shaped, on the day of the solar eclipse. I brought it home and wrote what I was needing more that day. I keep it on my desk in my studio, and it’s priceless for me. This tiny stone (or rock as I prefer to call it) will always remind me of that day.

I’d never seen plant before, not sure if these rounded parts are flowers. This little guy doesn’t mind the thorns 🙂 Can you see it?
