Saturday morning, I’m spending time in my studio being crazy with my art pages.
And you? What are you up this weekend? Hope something fun and relaxing.
Have a great weekend!

I’ve been art journaling since 2013, and now I think I’ve finally figured out my style for art journal pages. Here are a few things that I love to have on my pages:
It’s funny, I always try to change things but always go back to what makes comfortable and my creativity can fly free.
And you? How is your creativity doing?

I’m ‘being’ much more than ‘doing’ these days. I don’t want to rush through things, but I want to enjoy and appreciate moments. BE is my word for this year, just be myself, be here and now.

the space in between
emptiness
being filled up with
memories and dreams
insecurity and hope

It is difficult to start a new path, but you will find the way, you will erase the old path and make a new one, little by little, stone by stone. It will be yours and no one else.Â
When you realize that most of your life has been spent to please others, the only option is to go ahead and try to put yourself up in the chain. Take a bath of self-love and self-respect, be yourself for now on. People come and people go, but you need to stick with yourself, so take a better care of this body and this soul, do what pleases them.
I decided to start a series with my art pages, I’m naming it a random page. I love the frame of my noticing series, so why not starting one with my art pages. Hope you enjoy it!Â

Gathering my thoughts through words and images
Giving permission to my imagination
No boundaries, no judgement,
only freedom
Noticing how much I like to rip pages of magazines, it’s calming! I made these 4 pages during the weekend using the prompts from @createwithmethursdays, an Instagram challenge on Thursdays. I had a busy Thursday and didn’t have time to join the challenge, so I saved the prompts (Green, Love, Hope, and Faith) for the weekend.
Have a great week! Hoping for some sunshine here!

a peek inside my tiny red Moleskine. the prompt for this spread is i love…, without any doubt i love freedom: freedom to go and come back, freedom to wear what i fancy, freedom of speech and creativity. sadly many women don’t have a tiny bit of this freedom.
and you? what do you love?
i joined an art party last evening on IG. it was lots of fun to get together with people around the world and create few pages. if you wish, you can check it using #septglueparty18. I used my tiny red moleskine for my pages.  i really enjoy tiny art!
first prompt: which color describes you? – the first color to come to my mind is yellow. my older son was close by and i asked him the question, he said yellow!!! wow, this made me happy 🙂

second prompt: texture – i mixed up some pieces of paper and added this gorgeous lips, i love messy art!

third prompt: circles & lines – no much work here, only pieces and bits from leftover pages.

fourth prompt: a quote from jack kerouac “life must be rich and full of loving, it’s no good otherwise, no good at all, for anyone.” of course, if you know me, you know that self-love is on the top of my priority list.

hope you enjoyed to have a look at my pages. have a great week!
hugs,
E.
