I joined a glue book party last night, here are my pages and the prompts. I haven’t done much art journaling recently, so this party came in hand to boost my creativity. Hope you are having a lovely Sunday and enjoy my pages.

Interesting is that I’m not grounded at all, not sure why I’ve chosen this quote for today. Maybe because I’m searching for grounding after my vacation. I took this photo last week during my flight back home. It was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for ‘cloud’ photography.

Hello you!
I had a few weeks of vacation, I went to the beach and enjoy each moment of each. I was surprised when I got home and saw how my garden was blooming, flowers and butterflies everywhere. It’s nice to be back and to see that I don’t need to travel far to have beauty around me. But, of course, I could do with few weeks at the beach every couple of weeks 🙂
Joining Colleen’s Tanka Tuesday, today words are Nature and Clean, synonyms only, so I used Essence and Simple in a Haiga (Haiku + Photo).

Noticing and slowly taking in all the beauty of spring.
Last Sunday, I had a long walk around the neighbourhood, 5000 steps! I spotted this rose bush on my way.
The poppies are gorgeous in a park close by.
During the week I walked by a path of gorgeous peonies. I wish I could put their fragrance in a bottle and bring it home.
And yesterday, at lunch time, I was surprised with the beauty of these alliums in the university campus.

Wishing a great week to you, and remember to slow down and enjoy a little bit of beauty on your way. It can be the beauty of the flowers if you are in spring or the beauty of the leaves if you are in the autumn. It can be a beauty of a smile, a hug, eye contact with a strange coming in your direction or a simple thank you when you weren’t expecting it.

How are you doing? I’m doing OK! Busy with certain things and lazy with others. Getting work and chores done, and letting ‘me time’ for the gap in between. In main while getting lost away from myself.

I’ve realized that there are few spring days left, I should be more productive and catch up with my projects:
Photography: My main subject is my garden, it’s blooming with flowers and birds.

Journaling: I’m writing and writing, but I’m changing my style. I used to write in the 1st person, using I/Me. I’m trying to write using She/You, like if I’m a character in a story. Not sure if it makes sense, but when I read about the others, I’m compassionate, I’m not judgmental, I try to understand the reason behind the acts. I need to have more compassion towards myself.

Art Journaling: Trying to put together colours and images that speak to me. I’m always attracted to abstract art, I think that our mind sees what needs to be seen. I want my pages showing freedom, no rules, only feelings.
