Do you prefer a frozen corner

or a cozy corner?

A tiny poem for Sue’s challenge this week.

“No need to hurry. No need to sparkle. No need to be anybody but oneself.”

Sharing, with Nurturing Thursday, another page of my #365project, a quote/a thought per day.

The weather can be harsh but Nature always finds a way to show off her beauty. Right now we have ice sculptures all over rivers and lakes.

I’m going ahead
everyone has a purpose
to be a leader
or to be a follower
happiness is what matters
Colleen’s words this week are destination and guide.
I joined an art party on Instagram during the weekend, #jangluebookparty18.
This month the party was hosted by @the.butterfly.artist and @the_intrepid_goddess.
They provided 4 prompts and we made art pages with them, basically collage, since the party lasts 2 hours. It’s such fun, we have one party in the first Saturday of every month. I hosted one last year, and I’ll host another one in April. We have people from all over the world and prizes too. If you are interested in join them please let me know and I’ll send a message with the details close by. Here are my pages.

We love pomegranate in my home, we all like to eat it, but hubby is the only one that likes to open this winsome fruit and remove the edible seeds.
The season of pomegranate here in my city lasts from November to January, during this period we eat one or two per evening.
The legend says that in each fruit there is one seed that came directly from heaven, and it’s good luck to the person that eats it. Others say that it was pomegranate, not apple, that Eve offered to Adam.
There are many stories about this fruit, but what I know for sure is that it is delicious and healthy, each seed is loaded with antioxidants and vitamins.

I’m using my Hobonichi Techo for quotes. Before I was writing them in pieces of paper and of course they disappeared after a while, now I’m being more organized and mindful when writing them, like for this one I painted flowers using watercolor pencils.

behind those windows
peace and tranquility
just what i need
right now and forever
a room of solitude
but to reach it
the mind needs to rip apart
all thorns and fences
mindfulness
focus on the roses
