Wordless Wednesday :: Growing bright

Yesterday was warm enough and finally I could walk in my garden and take a few pictures.
I spotted this rose bush, the tiny leaves are showing up. It is always nice to see the plants coming back to life, the tiny green spots pushing through the soil after the harsh winter months.
You can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep spring from coming
Pablo Neruda
I’m grateful that spring is here to bright up my days and my mood. My mind goes to dark places in the winter, too much of it isn’t good.
It is spring again. The earth is like a child that knows poems by heart.
Rainer Maria Rilke
Happy Easter to you!

First of April. First flower of the season. First thoughts for the day. It’s nice to have firsts. The possibility of new or renew, a chance to do it right. Focusing on gratitude on my birth month.

Finally it’s here. The season of flowers. It’s a beautiful morning in my part of the world, birds are singing and the sun is shining.
Happy new season to you!

Spring softness can be found a few steps from my front door, as the first flowers in my Dogwood tree.

Or at a few steps a little farther away as in the tulips around my maple tree.

Spring’s soft fragrance can be found a few steps from my back door as well and it can infuse the soul with lightness as the hyacinthus in my backyard.

Or a little farther away, in a park nearby, the beauty of the cherry trees can transport us to a land of fairies and magic.
Hope you enjoyed a little bit the spring softness from my field of vision.

Hello my friends, hope you are doing well. This time of quarantine is making me reflect on many things. I’ve been up and down in relation to my feelings. Some days of stress, others of calm, others of nothing only going with the flow. I know for sure, is that I’m settling into the new routine of working from home. Sharing the space with my husband, having lots of coffee/tea and popcorn in the afternoons have brightened my day and I’m being more productive than we all day in the office.

The weather is getting more spring-like these days and a run at the closest park is always a moment of joy. Now is the season of tulips, and they are everywhere. I never get tired of taking photos of them.

Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.
Lao Tzu

A Light exists in Spring Not present on the Year At any other period -- When March is scarcely here A Color stands abroad On Solitary Fields That Science cannot overtake But Human Nature feels. It waits upon the Lawn, It shows the furthest Tree Upon the furthest Slope you know It almost speaks to you. Then as Horizons step Or Noons report away Without the Formula of sound It passes and we stay -- A quality of loss Affecting our Content As Trade had suddenly encroached Upon a Sacrament.
