Pink sky early morning, maybe a reminder of self-love for the day ahead. Yes, it was a long and busy day, but this pretty view was on my mind all the time keeping me calm. No filter, only the magic of nature.

Good Morning!
This pretty white mushroom is on my backyard, the only one white. We have plenty of brown ones.
It’s so pretty, I can see it from my kitchen door. I love the contrast with the green grass.
I was curious to know if it was edible or not, so I googled white mushrooms and the first sentence I read was “the most deadly mushrooms in the world are white“. Well, my gorgeous white mushroom will be there decorating my garden for how long it wishes!
“All mushrooms are edible, but some only once in a lifetime.” unknown
Have a great week my friends!
Few things that made smile this week:

my autumn decoration made with leaves from my maple tree and tiny vases. they are spread all over my home now. I do this every year, autumn leaves replacing the summer flowers.

i went to get a cup of tea and came out with this delicious spider donut. i couldn’t resist its cuteness! surprises from Tim Hortons, a coffee chain here in Canada.

an early morning view from my living room window.
noticing little things along the way.
wishing a wonderful weekend to you!
E.

“Don’t waste your time with explanations: people only hear what they want to hear.”
Only BE, there is no need to explain nor need to justify. People will judge you no matter what you say or do. You only need to be content with yourself and keep going without looking back.

“please, pick me up! it’s too cold here“
my black-eyed Susans are lovely. it’s a cold saturday morning but my flowers are still pretty, many roses blooming. i couldn’t resist and have a walk between them, breathing the crisp fresh air of an autumn morning.
have a great weekend!

adding a little bit of colour to lift my mood. autumn colours! aren’t they gorgeous?
pomegranates are back! such luscious fruit. i love to add the seeds to my cereal in the morning making it healthier and pretty!

noticing how vulnerable i’m right now. a look, a word, a piece of clothing can make me sad and unfocus. i want to cry and to hide, i want that the night arrives fast so i can sleep and forget the day. i’m sure this is part of the recovering process. i’ve never imagined that recovery could have many phases, seems there is no end. i hope a better phase starts soon.
hugs,
E.

nature is busy knitting laces, this means the winter is fast approaching!

some mornings words don’t need to be written, only to be read.
have a great tuesday!

still dark out there. my kitchen is warm and i’m enjoying a mix of scents this morning: coffee brewing, a vanilla candle, and roses from my garden. hoping to keep this peaceful moment with me during the day.
have a peaceful monday yourself!
