Tanka Tuesday – Midnight

Beauty in my garden

Midnight stirs
Dazzled by the past
Brightest light
Without ground to stead
Balance nowhere to be found
Fluttering always

Tanka Tuesday words for this week are: Enchant and Fly, synonyms only! I opted for Shadorma (3/5/3/57/5 lines) and the words Dazzled and Fluttering.

Hope you enjoyed it, this little poem expresses my feeling these last days.

Tanka Tuesday – Wings

A simple flapping
The pure essence of freedom
Showing us the path

Hello you!

I had a few weeks of vacation, I went to the beach and enjoy each moment of each. I was surprised when I got home and saw how my garden was blooming, flowers and butterflies everywhere. It’s nice to be back and to see that I don’t need to travel far to have beauty around me. But, of course, I could do with few weeks at the beach every couple of weeks 🙂

Joining Colleen’s Tanka Tuesday, today words are Nature and Clean, synonyms only, so I used Essence and Simple in a Haiga (Haiku + Photo).

blue – haiga

blue immensity
from the skies to the oceans
you have all my heart
wondering what is hidden
beyond treasures and despair

it’s time for tanka tuesday, our own choice of words, for today i’ve chosen heart and despair.

i took this photo last week, the sky was so blue, no clouds around. i was waiting outdoors for my son to give me a ride and i was wondering what is beyond all this blue. not about the universe, planets, atmosphere and stuff, but about the mystery, the magic, what is there that we can’t see?

i wasn’t sure if it is appropriate to make a haiga using a tanka, instead a haiku, but i had more words and it wouldn’t fit as haiku, they needed to be written.

hope you have a great day!
