Tanka Tuesday – Lone

Being carried away by longing
Blending among the canopy
Wondering and wandering
Sensing forgotten paths
Into the forest
Braids and branches
Turning one
Single
Gleam

Today’s prompt for Tanka Tuesday is a photo prompt. The photo should be able to inspire you to write a poem. That single mushroom in this photo evoked me a feeling of loneness. I’m sharing it using Nonet as the poetry form.

On the way

a secret message: find your anchor

I had a lovely morning outdoors yesterday, Saturday! The weather was just perfect, the crisp air and the sunshine. This beautiful painted rock was on my way, I believe this message found me.

beauty nearby

The flowers are blooming, it’s like they know that they should show our their beauty now, there isn’t time for later, the temperature is dropping faster.

Wishing a lovely week to your, enjoy the rest of this season.

I am a museum full of art,
and a deck full of music, but
I am an illusion of thoughts
a warm breeze
carrying the burden of the years
floating in the space
in search of an anchor
and a safe ground

Reena’s Exploration Challenge this week is “I am a museum full of art, and a deck full of music, but…”

just a sunday!

on my way

sunrise by the river. i’m just back from my 5k, it was gorgeous out there this morning. crisp air, birds, a breeze, little things that make me happy!

this last week i went back to the office after 150 days of quarantine working from home. it’s a different world out there. i see many layers of adaptation on my way.

strong coffee early mornings

nothing better than a strong cup of coffee before going out to keep up with all the changes and stresses of the outdoor world.

have a wonderful sunday!

a special welcoming

view from my basement

my front yard garden is blooming with pink english roses. these ones are a later bloomer, they start now and goes until the end of october, autumn roses! Their fragrance is wonderful, a welcoming sign for any visitor who rings the doorbell.

“Won’t you come into the garden? I would like my roses to see you.”
