First day of summer! We had a heatwave last week, wow, it was hot, almost impossible to be outdoors during the day. This week the weather is pleasant, long walks are welcome and I’m enjoying the flowers around the neighbourhood.
This garden is so pretty, I love messy gardens with a variety of flowers, including wildflowers. It’s Nature’s design. Of course, I admire a manicured garden with all its flower beds and trimmed plants, but wildflowers have a special meaning for me.
Hope you enjoy the summer and make time to appreciate the flowers around you.
“Magic exists. Who can doubt it, when there are rainbows and wildflowers, the music of the wind and the silence of the stars?”
Nora Roberts
Wildflowers are lovely in nature, but I could do without the thistles that got into mine years ago…

Most of them are pretty, but there is nasty ones in the middle! 🙂

I will take a wild garden over a finely manicured one any day! This garden looks lovely. Happy First Day of Summer, Elizabeth!
