rambling

this week was a kind of should or shouldn’t, what if……. i felt disconnected of my true-self, i let people and circumstances take control of my wishes. my intuition was guiding me to one side and i went to another.

right now i have snow flakes dancing in front of me, my cup of coffee and it’s time to reset.

the words for tanka tuesday this week are follow and lead, synonyms only! I’ve chosen pursue and clues, added them together in a double etheree. hope you enjoy and have a great weekend!

hope
evolve
breath, focus
intuition
moments and people
the message comes in clues
learn the rule of soul knowledge
shows up in mysterious ways
nothing should be able to steal it
it isn’t always clear at the moment
joy
is whole,
consciousness,
the commitment
authentically
an empowered person
pursue it without limits
and keep your senses synchronized
confirming that you are in peace now
letting go of any expectation

Tanka Tuesday – Energy

Since today is a full moon, my poem has to be about her. I was waiting for the moon to rise and take the photo for the post. This moon is a supermoon and is called a snow moon.

View from my kitchen at 7 pm eastern time

Letting go of the sacred innocence
the soothing music of the forest
in the dark February sky
bathed in flower essence and
dressed in a silver dress
distressed wolves howling
full snow moon blooms
she is bold
desired
joy

The words for today are game and trouble so I’ve chosen bold and distressed as synonyms. I’m using the Etheree form of poetry.

Full moon blessing to you!

Tanka Tuesday: Storm

the storm is coming
unhurried willing moment
lightness in the air
letting go of any task
only being here and now

Joining Colleen’s poetry challenge. The words for this week are slow and work. We can use synonyms only.

I took this photo yesterday when leaving work, a storm was approaching and everyone was in hurry to get back home. The moment was so precious, I felt the lightness in the air, I took my time, slowly savoring the moment, step by step, taking photos, no hurry.

my friend Gina is the guest hosting at dVerse Poetics this week. her prompt is ‘comfort smells’.

i love cinnamon scent! it brings me a sense of comfort and security, takes me back to lovely memories: a warm kitchen, sweets been baked, a cup of tea and family gathering around the table in winter nights. nowadays i add cinnamon is almost everything i bake, and i love to add a cinnamon stick to my cup of tea and to my coffee while brewing.

so, here is my take to the prompt.

cinnamon

firewood burning

stars illuminating the sky

cinnamon

moonlight bathing my skin

magic and power

cinnamon

forest whispering my name

i’m safe

i’m at home

cinnamon

hugs,

E.
