If I was walking in the forest

and found a magical portal

For sure I’d love to go back to the past

Not so sure if  I’d like to know the future

But the past, yes, of course!

Not only to look at it but to change it

But how to change it

if at that time

I did what I thought to be right

And I didn’t know better

Would I be the same today

If the past wasn’t the same

Maybe it’s best

to leave the past there

Bye bye magical portal

I don’t need you

And you? If you come across a magical portal, would you go in?

November vision board

I can’t believe it’s already November! This time of the year, more than ever, we need to take care of ourselves. Long nights, cold weather, festivities, …, the perfect recipe for depression. Being an introvert and prone to depression person I need to take care of myself before the winter blues catch me.

Full moon blessing and a wonderful Friday to you!

E.

Beneath the surface
Monsters and hidden treasures
Lurk unsuspected
Awaiting discovery
When the tides of life have turned

*

The depths of a soul
Battered by experience
Hides many secrets
The waves will wash over them
A gradual erosion

*

A new beginning
Solve et coagula
Eternal motion
Wha will be is always born
From all that has gone before

The photo for this week’s prompt was taken at Heysham, on the beach below St Patrick’s chapel. There is als a wonderful old church there with a superb hogback stone.

As always, I would like to thank  everyone for their contibutions. I love seeing how many different stories and poems can be born from one image. All the posts are listed below, please click on the links below to read them and leave a comment for the author! A new prompt will be published later…

Welcome November

New month, new possibilities, blank pages to be filled up with joy!

Only 3 things I’ve planned for November:

  • lots of writing and journaling
  • focus on gratitude
  • starting hot yoga classes (I’ve practicing yoga for many years but today I’ll will have my first class of hot yoga!)

And you? What are the 3 main things you want to focus this month?

Happy November!

IMG_1919Where do you eat breakfast?

In my kitchen, I love to prepare something health and eat it slowly enjoying the moment. I wake up early everyday, around 5:30, to have ‘me time’: I journal, do yoga and meditation. At 7 am I’m in the kitchen preparing lunch bags for the 4 of us.  I finally have time for my breakfast when all these tasks are done.

Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want have an evening with?

Well, if it is permited to use my imagination, I’d like to have an evening with the ladies of Sex and the City, the characters, not the actors, of the series. It will be a funny evening, only laughing, talking about nothing serious, only drinking and relaxing. Of course wearing glorious shoes!

I’d be a coconut tree, tall and strong living on a tropical island!
