16/30 – it’s the little things

Well, halfway through my project about little things. Hope you are enjoying the ride!

I was invited to a garden party last weekend. The weather was nice, I couldn’t resist the invitation and joined a few ladies in a nice afternoon conversation. I prepared a dessert to share with them. A simple raspberry pudding served in jam jars. I added a special touch: a lace on the jar and sprinkled the pudding with chocolate chips. I can say that my dessert was the star of the party, everyone loves it, both the taste and the little things I added to it.

While it may seem small, the ripple effects of small things is extraordinary.

    1. I like to do something different to take to these getting together occasions, most of the people stop by the grocery store and get cookies or drinks…, I think that spending a little bit time preparing a homemade food/dessert with care is much more rewarding. I’m happy everybody liked them!

      1. When we would have bake sales at school, the parents who baked something always sold their items first. The store bought stuff? It sat there. Kudos to you for making it extra special with homemade, Elizabeth.
