i’m trying lune poetry form for tanka tuesday this week. lune has 11 syllables in 3 lines (3-5-3). it’s named lune because has the shape of a crescent moon.

There are two versions of American Lunes you might enjoy,
Jack Collom Lune is 3,5,3 words and a Robert Kelly Lune is syllables of 5,3,5 each three lines. 🌙

Elizabeth, this is lovely. The “lune” form is the shorter 3-5-3 haiku or senryu. Very nice. I like the double meaning. ❤
