Expectation
Desire
Believing in the magic
The impossible turning into possible
The only tool to keep us going
When nothing else makes sense
A wish
A silent prayer
The soul talking to the mind

  1. Elizabeth, I’m so sorry to be slow to respond. I don’t always get the pingback notifications. I always go back and check before I publish my next post so that I’m sure I don’t miss anyone. It helps to leave your link in a comment as well. That said, I love your poem and the quote you chose. I had never thought of the “soul talking to the mind.” That’s a beautiful way of putting it. It sounds like your poem inspired your readers to have hope when they needed it. What more can you “hope” for from a post! 🙂 Thanks again for participating. I hope you will again.
