in a lake nearby
Adorned with bright red
The Earth has been whimsical
Provoking the moon
Trying to impress the groom
The sun is vainglorious

Today’s theme for Tanka Tuesday is poet’s choice. Inspired for all the beauty around here I wrote a tanka to register it. A little act of kindness for me and for the Earth. Hope you enjoy!
