Wordless Wednesday :: Growing bright

Yesterday was warm enough and finally I could walk in my garden and take a few pictures.
I spotted this rose bush, the tiny leaves are showing up. It is always nice to see the plants coming back to life, the tiny green spots pushing through the soil after the harsh winter months.
You can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep spring from coming
Pablo Neruda
I’m grateful that spring is here to bright up my days and my mood. My mind goes to dark places in the winter, too much of it isn’t good.
It is spring again. The earth is like a child that knows poems by heart.
Rainer Maria Rilke
Happy Easter to you!

Nothing like starting the day with bright new pages. I’ve been writing morning pages for almost a decade. It has become a habit, like brushing the teeth and drinking a cup of coffee early mornings.
My favorite notebook for my journaling is Moleskine. I love the softness of the pages, and it just few right in my hands. This one is almost done. I’d like to try a new brand, but not sure which one I’d go for. Any suggestions?

Do you know that kind of day you feel down, and you are walking looking at the ground all the path, but suddenly you feel the urge to look up? Yes, up there in the sky was a bright cloud in a shape of a heart, and it made me smile, and saw that the universe was conspiring to lift me up. Take home message: always look up!

First of April. First flower of the season. First thoughts for the day. It’s nice to have firsts. The possibility of new or renew, a chance to do it right. Focusing on gratitude on my birth month.
