Colleen’s challenge this week is ‘experience and new‘, we need to use synonyms for these words.
I think I’m addicted to the Cinquain form of poetry! 🙂

There is time for everything,
The snow is thick now
The earth is dark
But
Tomorrow the sun will rise
A new day
New possibilities
The snow will thaw
So your hardened heart
You will see everything
Bright and light
The words for Colleen’s challenge this week are Cover and precipitation, but we need to use synonyms. Here is my take!
drizzle
freshness, earthly
splashing, laughing, running
make me feel freely protected
Flurry

Lost in the mists of time
youth and passion
now I only have despair
waiting for a magic to happen
with each sunrise
the dream revives
bringing me love and enchantment
This week Colleen’s 2 words are STARK & TRAP, but we need to use synonyms in our poem.
you hold my body
listening to your crisp laugh
my mind goes away
beyond these unfriendly walls
to be uncaged faraway
Hope you like it!

Is there only one-way?
I don’t think so,
there are many ways and detours
the question is:
Did you choose the right way?

what are you searching?
not sure, maybe a haven
faraway from you!

Yesterday we had our first snowfall for this season, so lovely to watch the snowflakes reaching the ground. Of course, the first snowfall and the first week of snow are magical, but as the time goes by it becomes very difficult to accept the heavy snow that accumulates on the streets and sidewalks. Here is an acrostic poem for you.
Snow
Lovely and magical
Unbelievable the softness and design
Demanding all the attention to drive and walk
Gear up and go out
Enjoy the outdoors before the sludge shows up

Last flowers from this year
they were charming my garden
now they sit here
in the crystal vase from my mother’s wedding
a gift older to the new couple
now a treasure to me
their fragrance takes me back to the past
to memories worth to keep, to joy and beauty.
