Tanka Tuesday – Random words

selfish on her grace
she's capricious each moment
a trap for the eyes

Tanka Tuesday this week invites us to play with words. I love to write found poetry, and this is similar. She gave us a list of words to pick three or more and write a poem. I’ve chosen: selfish, capricious and trap. These beautiful yellow flowers are in a pot on my desk, I’m enchanted by their beauty, so this poem is for them. The words are below, why don’t you give it a try?

    1. Hi Yvette, I visited your blog earlier and again I could leave my comment! Your poem is beautiful, and the full moon has the same power on me, I couldn’t sleep last night, as usual when it is full moon.

      1. I’m still trying to figure that one out, Elizabeth. Someone else told me they had to clear their history and then they were able to leave a comment. I’m not sure why that is happening. Thank you for your kind words. My sister is also affected by the full moon. We are the sensitive souls that feel the energy around us, and the moon loves to play with our sleep. Lol!
