pure exuberance
opening up in the sky
the world is all yours
seeking for the beam of light
brightening with confidence
Tanka Tuesday – poet’s choice, and of course, my poem is about the full moon, have you seen her? she is gorgeous this week!

A hug is needed The enchantment has began My eyes will find yours The full moon is the witness Profound love is eternal
Today’s prompt for Colleen’s challenge is a photo prompt, I could resist the cuteness of this little one and quickly wrote this tanka.

This week Tanka Tuesday challenge’s prompt is a photo prompt. I soon as I saw this photo I had the feeling of isolation, being lost in the middle of the forest. When I looked closer at it, I saw the girl had a certain contentment in her expression, it’s like she had chosen to be there, she was fine and protected by the tree in the background.
Carried away to another dimension Leaving behind all the struggling and oppression She is free and protected now Breathing deeply and staring ahead Solitude won't be dreaded

This week Colleen’s Poetry challenge is Poet’s choice.
You know how much I love photography, it’s a form of expression for me. I try to show my feeling through my clicks. The same in relation to writing poems. I love it when I can put both together: photography and poems.
I took this photo few weeks ago. Hubby and I were strolling by a lake nearby and we saw this gorgeous swan in another side of the lake, they never came close before, so we didn’t expect when he/she started to swim towards us. It was a lovely surprise! We were so happy, like kids when receiving a new toy. We took photos and recorded this gorgeous bird. We really enjoyed that moment.
Hope you like the photo and the poem.

The ragged surface Scarcely shinning upriver Under the moonlight An enheartening secret For all her eternity
The words for this week are Comfort and Worn, synonyms only! I’ve chosen Enheartening and Ragged, and of course the full moon had to be part of the poem! Have you seen how gorgeous the full moon is shinning this month?

A photo is the prompt for Colleen’s poetry challenge this week.

The dawn flicks to life Enchanted and radiant A divine delight She waits in expectation The night belongs to the past

Beyond the story
A symphony of feelings
Seduced by the ink
Between words and paragraphs
The passion is essential
Form: Tanka
