July 31st! Can you believe it’s the last day of July? Almost impossible to believe how fast this summer is going by. Today is the last day of #icad2025. Here are a few of them. The above one is maybe my fave of all of them, pure simplicity.

Another favourite card below, fall colours. The weather is already turning here, autumn is coming!

I hope you enjoyed this #icad series. If you would like to see more tiny art, check my Instagram.

Wishing a wonderful August to you!

Hello, I’m still doing my tiny cards, slowing down a bit, but keeping up with the challenge.

I attended an in-person watercolour painting course in the spring. I thought I could learn how to paint nicely. I learned a few things, but in general, I don’t like watercolour; I prefer acrylic. I also dislike painting within lines and prefer abstract painting, where the colours speak for themselves. I attended 9 classes out of the 12. Was it worth? Yes, it was! For sure, I’ve confirmed my creative style is a messy one. No rules, only fun!

“Eleanor was right. She never looked nice. She looked like art, and art wasn’t supposed to look nice; it was supposed to make you feel something.”

It’s difficult to believe I’m keeping up with the art cards challenges! Week two is completed.

A messy card to match my messy desk.

12/61 and 13/61

Mixing up colours and stickers.

I’m not following the prompts, but I added a twig to this card, since the prompt of that day was a twig.

Hope you are enjoying the cards. Any favourite from these ones?

Hello, I’ve just heard that yesterday was Best Friends Day! I’m so grateful for all my online friends, here and on IG. Some of them for more than 10 years. Today’s card (above) is about connection, yes, I believe in it!

Yesterday was a peaceful day, so my card was all about relaxing.

My previous cards are below. Hope you enjoy them!

2/61 (top) and 3/61 (bottom)

My icads are all about my feelings at the moment. The 2/61 is about dreams and freedom, and the 3/61, as you can see, is perfectionism, or better, letting go of it.

I got the inspiration for the 4/61 card below from my garden. I saw butterflies and birds everywhere this morning while drinking my coffee outdoors. The weather was pleasant and perfect to admire the playfulness of the little creatures among the plants.

I hope I have inspired you today!

icads from a few years back

June is here with warmer weather, flowers, sunshine, flip-flops, outdoor eating… Oh, my, so much goodness in this month!

June is also a time for the I-CAD (Index Card) challenge from Daisy Yellow, where we use an index card to create something during June and July, totalling 61 cards. I had joined this challenge for many years, but I let it go. This year I’m inspired to do it again. It’s so rewarding to see the card pile at the end of the challenge, and I really need to get my creativity mojo back.

My first one for this year. I put it together in less than 5 minutes. I prepped the background yesterday using a tea bag, and this morning I added the stickers. I like the result!

Happy new month to you!
