Hehe! Good one! Cryptic but having grown up in the 70s I’m visualizing a bong with some high quality marijuana! I watched too many classmates exhale and get a dazed look. Many described a floating sensation… I was never into that….

Very nice creation. In my opinion, the subject of this poem seems to be imagination or creativity. The imagery of “taking flight” and “hovering senses” evokes the freeing nature of imagination or the transformative power of love and discovery.
