the black tea passion
first pleasure in the mornings
hot water and leaves
-the mindfulness is the key-
the early morning rush
enemy of the pleasure
hurry, leave the tea
W3 – Puente poem, first time trying it! I wrote a Senryu poem for the 1st and 3rd stanzas and a mantra I always keep in mind for the 2nd stanza. Hope you enjoy it!

Unique theme, perfect to the prompt with contrasting thoughts and lovely phrase in between the stanzas. My sincere thanks for the post, Elizabeth. 👏👏 And a friendly advice to readers that pl don’t rush and always be mindful. Sipping tea in the morning will help in that or not; a million dollar question…. lol 😀😊
