October is here with all its beauty. I couldn’t resist to these flowers, I had to bring them home, a ‘me gift’.
“There are always flowers for those who want to see them.”
― Henri Matisse
The weather was pleasant during the weekend, and we cleaned up our vegetable garden. Yes, October is also a month for organizing the yard. Lots of work need to be done before is too cold to be outside. I harvested the last tomatoes, green tomatoes, I love to use them in sauces or just fry slices in olive oil.

Hope you had a great weekend, and happy October to you!
Are green tomatoes raw tomatoes, or it’s a special breed? Never eaten them that way before.

Love the flowers. I haven’t tried fried green tomatoes, although I loved the book, lol. We seem to have an abundance with the early frost. Maybe I’ll give it a try
