“Let me, O let me bathe my soul in colours;
let me swallow the sunset
and drink the rainbow.”
Khalil Gibran
For many days the sun hasn’t shown up, it’s grey in the mornings when I leave for work and dark when I come back. The days are getting longer, but the grey is sticking around here. I bought yellow flowers in the weekend, they are so pretty and make my kitchen warm and colourful.
I haven’t joining Nurturing Thursday for so long. I miss it, and I think it’s time to start to post more, to have and to give more inspiration.
It is so wonderful to “see you”! You have been missed! Welcome back! Thank you for sharing and linking with Nurturing Thursday!

I love that you bring in color, and I suspect some nice floral fragrances too. We can’t control the weather, or the seasons, or how much the sun shines. We can go find us some color to brighten our days, our homes, our hearts. You got this. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

Yes, you are right! We can’t control nature but we can find ways to brighten up a little bit.

the flowers and berries look so cheerful, great idea to nurture yourself when it’s so gloomy 🙂

We had a tough January, no sunshine at all, so when I saw these flowers I had to get them, and the berries were delicious too!

Glad you joined Nurturing Thursday this week! Flowers always make the house look more cheerful; and I love the plate, it’s so pretty 🙂

You inspired me! I miss my garden, so why not get some grocery store flowers and spread around the house. This plate is really cute, it’s part of a set that I was keeping for special occasions, but I decided to use it. 🙂

I think colour is so important. We all need it during the winter months.

I’m already dreaming with my garden, can’t wait for the spring, but while it’s not here I need to improvise with these beauties.

At work we took a test to see what color we were: yellow, red, blue or green. I was a yellow–a structure person. That test described me to a T. I am not so much a fan of yellow, but I do take much pride in the color!

Wow! This seems so nice, I’d like to take that test, I’m curious to know which colour matches with me. Yellow is pretty, it’s sunshine and happiness, I love it! Really fits you!

You totally inspire me! That yellow is so full of life. Outside may be grey but we can find colour in a grey world. Beautiful nurturing from you!
