A couple of years ago when we were on the boat, the surface froze and the narrow boats were like popsicles in the water!

It is beautiful but can be dangerous, we need to be very careful with nature’s tricks!

Luckily for us the ice wasn’t that thick, though in years past it had been enough to walk on. It took a bit of getting used to walking on the pontoons and hearing them crack loudly beneath us! Nature tempts and torments us with her beauty.
